In the land of the rising sun a boy was born

Born in Matsuyama, Japan, Motoshi’s journey in music began with piano lessons at age 4. From teaching himself each instrument guitar to mastering the harp, he has fused the elegant spiritual teachings of the East with the innovated inspiring spirit of the West in a unique style that blends classical, jazz, and improvisation.

With a holistic approach to music and life is rooted in the principles of Bushido, Judo, and the “Do”—a path of intentional living. Alongside his musical career, Motoshi integrates holistic living practices such as permaculture, meditation, and yoga, turning his 15-acre property into a sustainable farm.

He teaches, performs, and coaches internationally, offering wisdom and guidance in both music and well-being.
